This is the archive of the first Boston Wikipedia meetup on July 31, 2004. See also archive 2 and recent and future meetups.
The Wikipedia meet-up was wonderful. We met at the bar, and then we got our own tables. Jimbo was quite late showing up, but he got there (eventually). He brought his family too. In the meantime, I unveiled my surprise - a Wikipedia quiz. (Take it!). Everyone took it singely or in pairs. The final scores were:
- User:Danny - 29 points
- Ortolan88/Bcorr - 25 points
- Sj - 20 points
- Acegikmo1 - 19 points (stole most of his answers from Danny)
- Moink/Uncle Ed - 15 points
- Jamesday/Dpbsmith - 12 points
- Juuitchan - 10 points
- Jimbo Wales - 1 point. (+1 pity point because we assume he knows who was recently elected to the Foundation board)
