Flag Pics
[edit]Is there a standard for whether flag pictures should be next to countries of residence in ethnic groups? I know with other Infoboxes, such as Template:Infobox settlement, it is considered visually distracting to have these flags next to regions, but I personally think it looks nice and adds relevant information with little bother/material take-up.
Some pages, such as Armenians, do not have flags listed next to regions while others, such as Arabs, do. Any thoughts on standardizing this? Jg.lamp (talk) 17:54, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
Add a short description
[edit]This infobox would make perfect sense for a short descriptions generator of simply "ethnic group", just like the name of the infobox. It would be easily implemented by just adding this to the top of the template:
{{Main other|{{short description|Ethnic group|noreplace}}}}
